Outlook Foundation seeks to provide refurbished and repurposed computers to the following as funds and supplies allow:
The Outlook Foundation provides refurbished desktop and notebook computers primarily to under-resourced school children between the ages of 6 and 17, deployed military personnel as well as their immediate family if needed and veterans.
We request that all deployed military personnel applying provide a residential address where the computer can be sent. We have been informed that you must have your laptop unit registered for the base that you have been assigned to.
Applications and inquiries should be made by parents/guardians, deployed/pre-deployed military personnel and/or persons authorized by organizations supporting children or veterans or military who are endorsed by the administrative head of the organization.
Recipients may be contacted or asked to submit a brief final report explaining how the computers were utilized and the success of the program/project.
Step 1: Application
To be considered for receiving a refurbished computer, please print and complete an application, email or mail it to the Outlook Foundation via US Postal Service.
Applicants are invited to apply for a computer at any time throughout the year, the applications will all be reviewed.
Children’s applications must include the completed and signed parental release form and both children’s and military applicants must include the signed media release.
Step 2: Review Process
Outlook Foundation will review your request for a refurbished computer to determine if this request meets our funding criteria and scope of interest.
A decision on any application or inquiry may depend upon the number and nature of all other requests as well as the availability of computers and funds available for refurbishing and shipping the computers.
